Neighbors Shocked by Raid on Ex-Subway Spokesman Jared Fogle: 'I Hope He's Innocent'

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, FBI operators and state police plunged on a peaceful tree-lined subdivision in Zionsville, Indiana, where now-previous Subway representative Jared Fogle lives with his wife and two kids.

Neighbors in the upscale group only north of Indianapolis were stunned by the strike, which endured 11 hours while authorities expelled gadgets from Fogle's a large portion of million-dollar home. "I trust he's guiltless," neighbor Julie Hole tells PEOPLE.

What powers were searching for is still unsubstantiated, yet the examination comes months after the official chief of Fogle's Jared Foundation was captured on government youngster porn charges.

Russell Taylor, 43, was taken into police care in April and accused of seven numbers of generation of youngster obscenity and one tally of ownership of kid erotica. He endeavored to submit suicide in May, yet he fizzled and stays in a coma.

Fogle himself has not been captured or accused of any offense. "Jared has been chipping in with law requirement and its examination of certain unspecified exercises and anticipates its decision," his legal advisor Ron Elberger tells PEOPLE in an announcement.

Still, his notoriety has taken a hit in the midst of the test. In an announcement Tuesday, Subway reported that it was briefly separating ties with Fogle, who is justified regardless of an expected $15 million, while the examination is in progress. "Both Jared and Subway concur that this was the suitable stride to take," the announcement peruses.

Yet, Hole says there's never been any sign of wrongdoing on Fogle's part. She depicts the Fogle family as "simply typical neighbors." The children, ages 2 and 4, "are lovable," she says. "They're continually circling outside, playing ball."

The family "has a great deal of social gatherings with companions, birthday parties for the children," she includes. "They're social, with a vast gathering of companions. "

Concerning Jared, he's calm, yet benevolent. "He's continually waving and saying hello," she says.

Neighbor Dennis Cryder advises PEOPLE that Fogle basically minds his own business. "He has a ton of individual appearances," he says. "I don't generally see them."

On the other hand, Hole's spouse Ed says that doesn't mean he supposes Fogle was included in anything illicit. "He's never been changed with anything," he says, including: "He's pure until demonstrated blameworthy."
